ABOUT ME

My name is Natalia, and I create under the pseudonym Nartka.

I work primarily as a tattoo artist, while also exploring oil painting, illustration, and ceramics.

In 2026, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk.

Although my education is rooted in design, I have largely developed my artistic practice as a self-taught artist - through constant exploration, observation, and experimentation. I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. I don’t like limiting myself to one technique or staying within defined boundaries; I enjoy exploring new forms and continuously discovering my own artistic language.

Creating by hand is more than just a job for me. It’s a way to unwind, a source of inspiration, and a space where I can create simply for the joy of creating.

I’m based in Sopot, Poland.

Although I’m naturally more of an introvert, one of the things I value most about being a tattoo artist is the opportunity to meet new people and hear their stories. Every encounter brings something new and often becomes a source of inspiration.

When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me in my little studio (bedroom). My creative process is always accompanied by a cup of coffee and my cat, Niunia. When I’m not painting, tattooing, or working with clay, I enjoy spending my free time with Nintendo in hand. I also have a soft spot for vintage porcelain figurines.
